Managing team seats

The Library module is licensed as a seat pool: your organisation holds a number of seats, and each active member takes one. Everything about seats is managed on the web portal, in your account, never inside the plugin, so one admin keeps the whole team in order from one place.

How the seat pool works

Your plan holds the number of seats you bought. When a member of your organisation signs in, they occupy one seat and every Library window opens for them, the Organisation window included. Free up a seat and it returns to the pool, ready for the next person. Your admin sees the seats used against the seats available at any time, from the account dashboard.

Need more room? Seats can be added as the team grows, and billing follows the pool, monthly or annual, in EUR.

Adding and removing members

Members join an organisation by invitation. From the web portal, an admin invites a colleague by their work email; when they accept, they become part of the organisation and take a seat. Remove a member and their seat is released back to the pool. Because the whole team shares one licence, there is no key to hand out and nothing to install differently: the person signs in and Paramettrik Library is already fully unlocked for them.

Roles

Not everyone in an organisation does the same job, so members carry a role. Admins manage the plan: seats, billing, and who belongs. Managers curate the shared library, marking families as recommended to steer the team toward them, or deprecated (with a note) to steer it away. Every member browses, downloads and publishes into the team library. Roles are set on the web portal, right next to the seat list.

Where to manage all this

Seats, members and roles all live on the web portal, one click from the plugin: the Organisation window has a Manage members on the web button that opens exactly the right page. The plugin shows you the team; the web portal is where you change it.
