Paramettrik Production

Manage every construction project from a single screen.

Spaces, projects and sub-projects, your team, the calendar, hours, BCF and conversations: Production brings your firm's project management into one place, across architecture, engineering and construction. Progress comes from real work, reported from Revit or from the web.

The same Paramettrik account as your other tools. Nothing to install for those who run the work.

Production in a few minutes

A guided tour of Paramettrik Production, from a space's portfolio to a check-in sent from Revit.

At a glance

Everything you need to run your projects, in one place.

Seven building blocks that work together. Pick one for a closer look.

Project management

Your projects, organised the way your office works.

Group your projects into spaces, one per client or per department for instance, and split each one into sub-projects. The portfolio sorts them by status (To do, In progress, Done) with progress, due date and any columns you add. Click a project to open its panel.

  • A panel for every project: number, address, client, coordinates and georeferencing, BIM template.
  • Deliverables with their status and date, plus contacts on the client side and among your contractors.
  • Links to point clouds and virtual tours, and the software used on the project.

Everything worth remembering about a project lives in its panel, one click from the portfolio.

A space's portfolio: the tree of spaces and their projects, then the projects grouped by status with their assignee, progress and status.

Team

A team you can read at a glance, with clear roles.

Create your teams, give each one a colour and a lead, then give every member a role: Admin, Manager or Operator. On every project, you can see who works on it and in what capacity.

  • Teams by department or by trade, with their lead and their members.
  • One role per person, which decides what they see and what they can do.
  • Everyone's task count, so you can spread the load before it spills over.

Everyone knows what's expected of them, and you know who's on what.

Team and administration: the organisation's teams, then every member with their role, teams and task count.

Calendar and time tracking

Your schedule and logged hours, in plain sight.

The calendar brings together project milestones, meetings and your tasks, in month, week, day or agenda view. Hours come from your team's check-ins: who worked on which sub-project, on which day, and on what kind of work.

  • Every project's milestones and handovers, laid out across the month.
  • Your overdue tasks, rescheduled in one click, and the ones still waiting for a date.
  • Each project's time log, filtered by person and by period, with its total hours.

You know where the week stands without walking round the office.

The month view: project milestones, handovers, meetings and client check-points, day by day.

Analytics

Indicators built on real work.

Every project has its own dashboard: progress against the deadline, hours, sub-projects, BCF, deliverables. Across the organisation, you follow the workload per person, projects at risk and how far each project has come against where it should be today.

  • Projects at risk flagged on their own: overdue, or more than 10 points behind expected progress.
  • Hours broken down by type of work, by space or by project.
  • Each member's entry coverage, so you know how far to trust the numbers.

Monday morning's questions are answered before the meeting starts.

A project's dashboard: progress against the deadline, hours over time, the split by type of work and the state of each sub-project.

Messages

The conversation stays next to the project.

Channels for the whole team, private channels, direct messages and a conversation inside every project. Reply by quoting a message, mention a colleague, react with an emoji.

  • Your organisation's channels, each with its Files and Photos tabs.
  • A project's conversation, opened from its panel without switching screens.
  • Everyone's role shown next to their name.

Decisions stop getting lost in email: they stay where the project lives.

The General channel: announcements, quoted replies, reactions, and everyone's role next to their name.

Inside Revit

Your operators stay in Revit.

Production is part of the Paramettrik suite for Revit. On the Paramettrik tab, the Production group adds two buttons, BCF and Check-in: your operators work through BCF topics and report their day from their model, and everything lands in the app.

  • The BCF manager inside Revit: a session's topics, filtered by status, with their conversation and decision.
  • Your team's check-ins on the project panel: who works on what, sub-project progress, hours.
  • The project's BCF sessions, exportable as .bcf and .bcfzip.

Nobody types anything twice: what leaves Revit lands in the project.

On the roadmap

Automatic capture from Revit: element counts, time per task, sync warnings.

From the model to the portfolio

One check-in sent, one project up to date.

The operator declares hours and progress without leaving Revit. The sub-project updates, and the project with it.

The sub-project and the project update on their own, nobody retypes a percentage.
Cloud and My docs

Your files, organised like your projects.

My docs is your Paramettrik account's file space, in the cloud. Production has its own root there: a folder for your organisation, then one per space and one per project, named just as they are in the app.

  • Same names as in the app, so you find a project without hunting for it.
  • Upload, download, rename and move, in list or grid view.
  • Library, Synthesis and Reports alongside Production, in the same space.

One place for your files, whichever tool produced them.

My docs open on the Production root: the folders of a space's projects, named as they are in the app.

One role, one view

Everyone sees what they need.

Admin

Manages the organisation, its members and every project.

  • Invites members and assigns roles
  • Sets up the statuses and the check-in form
  • Sees the indicators of the whole organisation

Manager

Creates and runs projects.

  • Creates spaces, projects and sub-projects, and assigns the team
  • Schedules milestones and meetings, opens BCF sessions
  • Follows the indicators of the projects they lead

Operator

Produces, and says so in a check-in.

  • Checks in on the projects assigned to them, from Revit or the web
  • Creates BCF topics, comments, moves a status forward
  • Follows their own activity

Presence, not surveillance. You see who is online or away, nothing more. No timer, no screen tracking. Hours and progress are the ones each person declares in their check-in.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before getting started.

No. Production is a web application: a manager runs projects, coordinates and follows indicators from a browser. Revit is for operators who want to check in and create BCF topics without leaving their model, and they can also do it from the web.

Yes. A BCF session can start from an existing .bcf or .bcfzip file: its topics and their viewpoints are brought in. The other way round, every session exports in both formats. Production reads BCF 2.1 and 3.0, and exports 2.1.

Every member sees the projects of their organisation. Managers and admins create, assign and schedule, operators check in on the projects assigned to them. For indicators, the operator sees their own activity, the manager the projects they lead, the admin the whole organisation.

In My docs, the file space of your Paramettrik account. Every project has its folders there, and its panel in Production takes you straight to them.

Production is bought per seat, for your organisation. The number of seats, the tiers and the prices are detailed on the pricing page.

No. Production shows who is online or away, and that is all. No timer, no screen tracking. Hours and progress are the ones each person declares in their check-in.
